LOL This is some unreleased prototype game for the N64 that was recently dumped, and I noticed that the first character you can choose from in it has a ridiculously high max speed (which constantly increases as long as you are touching rocks or the sides of the level) so I decided to TAS this and see what time I could get. It took me about an hour. aleckermit helped me out a lot in this by testing various character speeds and strats on console. The timing goes until the camera switches to a top-down view because this is the point at which the game freezes on console. Also, trying to capture the AVI in Mupen just crashes the emulator so we had to record it with a screen capture program.

***READ BEFORE WATCHING*** This tool-assisted speedrun by Swordless Link (me) aims to beat The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time while beating all of the dungeons, temples, and Ganon Trials in as little a time as possible. This category is widely known as "all temples", "all dungeons", "MST (medallions/stones/trials)", and "no major skips". This run is the result of many months of hard work optimising the game. I am incredibly proud of the final result. My comments on the run can be found here: pastebin.com I strongly recommend reading this, as it details all of the major tricks used in the run, as well as giving a run-down of each individual area visited in it. Below are list of times which the viewer should skip to to avoid cutscenes: 03:05 Exit Link's House 06:28 Enter Hyrule Field 09:44 End of Bottom of the Well 16:50 End of Dodongo's Cavern 25:11 End of Jabu-Jabu's Belly 30:40 End of Zelda Cutscene 36:19 End of Becoming Adult Cutscene 39:48 Enter Shadow Temple 45:46 End of...

This speedrun of Chameleon Twist 2 by aleckermit (see his channel here and subscribe to it: www.youtube.com ) aims to beat the game as quickly as possible. It does this through various tricks and glitches used to skip many things in the levels. aleckermit's comments: "Been attempting this game for a couple weeks, and got a few low 38:xx's but my recording setup failed me for each of those runs which left me with un-submittable videos. Fueled by frustration and a bit of insanity, I kept attempting and got this unholy 37:47 (from the first frame that the chameleon moves in level 1 until the frame where the boss's healthbar hits empyy. I was certain I'd never sub-38, it requires so much luck and accurate gameplay.... but mostly luck. Thanks to NESkamikaze for being in the commentary, and Swordless Link for hosting the run."

This video briefly shows every single Nintendo 64 game released in North America during the system's life cycle. It does not include any Japanese or PAL exclusives. All of the footage in the video was recorded off of a single original Nintendo 64 system. None if it was taken from an emulator or the Wii's Virtual Console. List of games shown: pastebin.com aleckermit: "Playing all 296 Nintendo 64 games was a great pleasure, but a burden at times as well. I was plesently surprised by many games that I had never played/heard of before, and tortured by some very bad games too. On the technical end of things, the audio was very hard to get consistant (296 games = 296 different levels of sound). I did my best to make the volume equal throughout but you may notice some dipping here and there. Also, most of the gameplay was recorded with composite video input because my capture card was wigging out. Footage from Polaris Snowcross and onward is s-video. Here are some less-popular N64 games...

Showing you how to get the Purple Gauntlets in Zelda OoT 3D Master Quest. But why the purple ones? Because it's more tricky to get them, you have to enter and finish Dodongo's Cavern without the Goron Bracelet. This is only possible in Master Quest, because in this version you can get the Bombchu's early. Also explaining how to do these glitches and other important stuff. Download: www.mediafire.com This is Sonic 2 with 4 additional zones added to the single player mode. These 4 zones are OFFICIAL levels that were cut from the game at some point during development. The lost Zones were discovered and added back into the game by a group of hackers. The Zones are: Wood, Dust Hill, Genocide City, and Hidden Palace. Each of these Zones has 2 unique Acts except for Genocide City which repeats Act 1 (an Act 2 was never made). These levels are fully functional, but due to their beta nature you may run into some minor bugs. The Zones are played in this order: Emerald Hill Chemical Plant Aquatic Ruin Casino Night Hill Top Wood Mystic Cave Dust Hill Oil Ocean Genocide City Hidden Palace Metropolis Sky Chase Wing Fortress Death Egg PS: More Acts = More chances to get chaos emeralds ;) WAD by aleckermit and Darkeye14. I actually injected this back in early 2008 but never released it because it had a hideous Sonic 3 banner and title.

Single Segment by Kaztalek SDA timing (from control): 6:14:07 RTA timing (from file select): 6:17:26 This run starts from a new file and gets everything that doesn't disappear after playing the song of time, then finishes by defeating the end boss. 100% includes: -all boss remains -all heart containers and heart pieces -all masks -all items -all ocarina songs -all upgrades -all fairy rewards -all dungeon maps and compasses -all area maps -complete bomber's notebook -completion of the game This is the world record and is an improvement of over 41 minutes from the previous SDA record, held by Dragorn, which differs from this run in that it was segmented (done in parts) and neglected to get area maps, dungeon maps, and dungeon compasses. The time saved comes from a superior route, written by me, newer tricks, and greater skill/play quality. Tags: Legend of Zelda 3DS N64 Glitch trick speed sequence break 3D cloudmax Let's Play RBA Ocarina Time bug
The route used in the playthrough was created by me. Aleckermit and absolutelymaxx helped me improve it. Heh, I got lucky with the bomb drops in this one. Also, alot of people has asked me about colored gauntlets through PM, video comments & channel comments. You will see if it works or not at the end of this video. :) Segment 7: At lon lon ranch I perform a glitch called "Lon Lon Stick", it gives you deku stick on B. I have a video for it on my channel. After that I get bottle on B by duping over the dekustick. Then I put the pocket egg on II and catch an item in my B bottle. This triggers a glitch called "RBA", and by doing RBA with pocket egg you get colored gauntlets and adults wallet, so that I can purchase giants knife for 200 rupees later on. You can look up information about RBA at zeldaspeedruns.com

Segment 4: •I buy a new deku shield and a deku stick -I forgot that I wasnt suppost to buy a deku stick, I only lost about 10-15sec by doing that though. •After that I make my way to Zoras River •Then I blow up the grass in hope of getting a bomb drop, I got lucky. •I buy 1 bean (Due to changes done in the route, this is completely useless) •After that I go to zoras domain where I farm some deku sticks and blue rupees. The route used in the playthrough was created by me. Aleckermit and absolutelymaxx helped me improve it. This is my worst segment so far, I even lost my shield. However, I did grab a red rupee incase it would burn up. I'll just buy a new one in segment 4. Segment 3: •I started off by trying to jump into the room just as the boulder explodes, but failed. •I make my way to the first Lizalfos. I used a deku nut to secure a broken deku stick. -I wasted one deku nut though... •Then I go all the way to the second Lizalfos room, where I do not want to waste my last deku nut, I manage to get broken deku stick without it. •After that I make my way to the bomb bag chest without much trouble. I managed to get there without loosing my deku shield... •I drop two bombs in the eyes and get into the room inside of it. •When entering the room with the blocks I try to play as safe as possible to NOT burn my shield, I failed horribly.. I wasted time trying to save it. -Note that I grabbed...
