Clowney attended Northwestern High School in Detroit. His father played the piano and encouraged him to pursue a musical career. Clowney played the piano for 10 years, then he took up the organ. Rick explains that he and George were probably too ambitious with the script 20 years ago, they wanted the movie to be 3-4 hours long, but after completing Star Wars Episode 3, Rick and George focused on getting the script into a really good action movie. Red Tails is about the Tuskegee airmen, a group of African-American pilots. Three of the original Tuskegee airmen were present through the whole process of writing the script, preparation and...

Malnutrition remains a real and terrible issue for so many children in the world. 5 million children die each year from malnutrition each year in the poorest regions while elsewhere obesity and waste reach record levels. This is a contrast which those of us fortunate enough to live among food abundance should feel compelled to do something about if we can. And the good news is that we can. We can make a difference - for less than the cost of half a cup of coffee we can ensure that one more child in the world receives a healthy nutritious meal every single day. The Nourish the Children initiative is a revolutionary solution to provide a consistent and growing supply of nourishing food to the world's most needy children. This simple concept succeeds through the development of a highly nutritious food - VitaMeal®, which contains 25 of the most needed vitamins and minerals for malnourished children - and then helping people to purchase and then donate these nutritious meals to...
