This tragedy happened in my hometown near my old office at Blok Z3 Barat. It is unnecessary tragedy and avoidable if the firefighters knew what is their obligation and duty. Alas, this is Jakarta, Indonesia. On top of that, this is an Indonesian chinese enclave which for years is subjected to accept the injustice by local authorities. On the night of May 15th 2012, this house was on fire. The three kids were all stranded at second floor which the window has been locked and protected by steel cage. The mother left the house to seek for help from the neighbors. During this time, the neighbor has called the firehouse and no one picked up the phone!!! Eventually, some of them went to the firehouse by motorbike to ask for help. Keep in mind the firehouse just about 200 meters away from the scene. However, what holding up actually is not the equipment or personnel of fire fighter. It is the PAYMENT and who will responsible for that and the negotiated amount before the firehouse ready to...

Guess who's back? After finishing my Top 100, I figured Kirby deserved some attention. So, let's have some fun with this! PS: Since Google won't allow me to upload videos over 15 minutes anymore, I had to split this into two parts. Part 2 is in the works and will PROBABLY be uploaded tomorrow. ;)

Filmed 4/28, 5/6,20/12. This is my biggest video to date. I hope 15 and a half minutes isn't too long for you all to sit through. Took three Saturdays to film, and then three more days of editing and publishing. So please, let me know if you guys like this sort of stuff or not. And by all means speak your mind. Anyway, the grain and box cars have all been patched to KCE and then weathered. All the KCE locomotives were painted/patched as well as the caboose. The passenger train is not mine, I borrowed them them for the video... which is pretty much what the KCE did. The GP40-2 KCE train wasn't mine either. Oh, if you look and listen carefully, when the freight train is clearing the tunnel at 12:30 (just before the last couple cars and caboose clear the screen), you can see a slight lurch and jerk along with a bang. Well, that was my locomotives slamming into the back of Dad's stopped grain train... had no idea he stopped. But you can see the outcome at the end of the bloopers section.
