In this video, teens from the Minnesota History Center Teen Advisory Council shot footage of their bedrooms. Later they were interviewed by SPNN Youth producer Breon Jones about their bedrooms and what their space says about them as individuals. Breon then compiled the interviews with the footage shot by the council to be presented as a video accompaniment to the exhibit, LOL: Living Our Lives Exhibit: A Brief History of Today?s Teens, which was on display at the Minnesota History Center in April 2012.

Mr. Gerard L. Cafesjian, entrepreneur and philanthropist, was born in Brooklyn, New York, USA, in 1925. During World War II he was on active duty in the Atlantic on the destroyer escort USS Andres and in the South Pacific aboard the USS Oceanographer. Following his discharge from the United States Navy, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and then a law degree. In 1960, Mr. Cafesjian moved to Minnesota to take a position at West headquarters. Tourists and naturalists alike have long appreciated the falls and surrounding parkland for their dramatic views, shady woods and abundant wildlife. Luckily for future generations, they documented their trips in photographs, many of which are preserved in the collections of the Minnesota Historical Society.
